St. Petersburg in February

there were two main reasons why i came to Petersburg in February. 1) God is an Astronaut (the best post-rock band, just believe) had a concert. 2) my friends opened bar of their own. party on the occasion of the opening of bar is a theme for next post, so you won't miss anything.

here is the strange room with dead butterflies on the walls and all editions of Vladimir Nabokov books

Short Track Speed Skating World Cup @ Megasport Arena, Moscow

Before you click 'read' button i need to tell you something.
As many of you know, i have little to do with sport (i don't count TV-translations of Olympic Games, of course). But recently i noticed a strange liking for watching speed skating contest (it is not very strange though, because there are many cool guys, tall in tight body suits and stuff).. and one day something happened. Andrew - good friend of mine - invited me on a Speed Skating World Cup. WHOOAAA!!! but! (as it always happens when you want something so much) somehow Speed Skating transformed to Short Track. epic fail! no more cool guys swinging their arms while skating slowly. only those shorties skating laps...
And it is not the end. I had only the bw film in my camera, so i couldn't reproduce even a half of atmosphere of what was going on in Megasport Arena.

My last wishes for that day were 1) to draw a flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina on my cheek and 2) to replay the day and watch a true(!) Speed Skating World Cup.

Changed your mind to read full post? me too.

I always thought that it is too stupid to name post like this, it's as clear as day. So not being captain O, i invite you to see some pics. As usual if you click on the picture the bigger sized photo will appear in new window immediately.

holidays in Crimea || post scriptum

Photobucket

Still thirsty for pictures? Here you are! The last set of photos from Crimea i had taken with my cute Nokia. By the way, it was also a chance to check the cell-phone cam. And sure i would never show you these pictures without special app. I need to say that all these mobile applications for photos rise your self-appraisal to the highest level. And now i feel myself like a satanic photographer with all the aces! Have fun!
